(Sketch comp colored in photoshop)
Ammit comes from Egyptian mythology. Ammit was a female creature with the head of a crocodile, body of a leopard or lion, and the hind quarters of a hippopotamus. She lives near the scales of justice in the underworld her role is to devour evil souls. She is the embodiment of divine retribution. When a person dies their heart is weighed against a feather representing their sins. If the feather (sins) weighed more than their heart Ammit would appear and devour them having to die a second time and not being permitted into Aaru (heaven).
