Fukurokuju comes form Japanese/Chinese mythology. He is one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan and the embodyment of the Three Star Gods of China. In both cultures he represents longevity and wisdom. He is usually depected as having a very long high bald forehead. He is seen with a crane or turtle which are animal symbols of longevity.
